Join Dave Edgcombe from the North Devon AONB for this presentation and Q&A about our changing coastline.
Dave will be comparing images taken by James Ravilious in the 1970’s and 1980’s with current images, which show change. The talk also looks at the Beaford Old Archive a collection of old images collected by Ravilious, when visiting and photographing local people and communities. These are largely postcard/old images from the late 1800’s and early 1900’s, show much greater change.
The talk looks at Historical points of interest when looking at the comparison images and covers the coast from Hartland to Combe Martin.
