You would be joining local people, organisations and representatives of statutory agencies, on the Partnership in an advisory role, to ensure that the natural beauty of the North Devon Coast National Landscape is conserved and enhanced for future generations.
As a member of the Partnership you would meet formally three times a year, you would champion the National Landscape, provide advice, and help develop policy that would guide the North Devon Coast National Landscape team’s work within the area.
Following the most recent review of the National Landscape Management Plan, the Partnership is seeking people who are passionate about the North Devon Coast, its communities, accessibility, environment and who want to ensure the North Devon Coast remains a special place.
People from our local communities are important in advising the Partnership on community issues and priorities and we currently have vacancies for Community Members
Is this something you think you would be interested in? We welcome all expressions of interest but are particularly keen to hear from individuals who have knowledge and experience of:
- Youth Voice
- Accessibility
- Climate change and renewable energy
- Equality, Diversity and Inclusion
- Geology and Ecology
- Heritage
- Planning and Development
Roles on the Partnership are voluntary with a requirement to attend Partnership meetings three times per year and take part in occasional subject-based working groups.
Please email [email protected] to express your interest or to arrange an informal chat with the National Landscape Manager, Joe Newberry.
