Join the Findding Nature’s Footprints Team to learn how to survey local wildlife
These survey workshops at Seymour, right next to Woolacombe and Mortehoe, will introduce communities, individuals and families to how they can get involved in identifying, surveying and mapping our local wildlife. Learn about our local wildlife and help us to better understand the ecology of the AONB.
The National Trust are making fantastic progress increasing habitat and species biodiversity at this site. We want to help them survey for particular groups in order to have a better understanding of how effective these changes are.
To be able to make the right decisions for nature recovery its important that we know what we have and how it is changing, this is your chance to get involved.
At this event we will be be surveying local wildlife using a range of techniques including bird surveys, footprint tunnels, small mammal assessment and reptiles refugia.
