Join the FInding Nature’s Footprints Team and Northam Burrows Country Park in the 2023 BioBlitz
As well as school activities there will be a whole host of puiblic walks all aimed at gathering as much information as possible about the wildlife that lives in the park. All events are free and entrance to the park is also free throughout the BioBlitz
At the hub, located at the visitor centre, you will find various organisations on hand to chat including the North Devon Coast AONB, Devon Moth Group, Coastwise North Devon, Sunrise Diversity, Braunton Countrysdie Centre, North Devon Biosphere, Skern Lodge, Plastic Free North Devon, Devon Wildlife Trust, and the Devon Biodiversity Records Centre and more. The hub will be open 10am – 4:30pm

12.30 – Dune Plants – with Mary Breeds from the Braunton Countryside Centre. Meet at the visitor centre
13.30 – Life in the Mud – with Coastwise North Devon. Meet at the Appledore Skern
14.30 – Birds of the Burrows – with Chris Dee. Meet at the visitor centre
15:30 – Trees & Scrub – with Head Ranger, Mike Day. Meet at the visitor Centre
16.30 – Streams & Watercourses – with the AONB Team. Meet at the Westward Ho! gate
21.30 – Bat Walk – Appledore Bridge Booking Essential
