Chapel Cottage locates the medieval chapel of St Wardreda, to which a priest was licensed to celebrate divine service in 1439. It was subsequently used as a cowshed and store, before being restored.

A well, possibly dedicated to st. Wardrede, discovered outside chapel cottage, 1971. If this is a holy well it is likely to be of medieval or earlier date.
