Visit Dave at the Braunton Countryside Centre to discover more about the fascinating life that exists in our oceans.

Starting off the Christmas holidays, Dave will be happy to answer all your questions about marine mammals and surrounding coastal wildlife.

Drop-in sessions will be held from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. and 2 p.m. to 3 p.m.

Donations towards the Countryside Centre are appreciated.

About the expert: 

Dave Jenkins is a local marine mammal expert who has been assisting the Seal Group Research Trust for many years in identifying individual seals and their movements down the coast from Morte Point. Dave is very knowledgeable about the importance of this area to the Seals and is keen to pass on his knowledge to the local community.
