A Braunton Countryside Centre Event

Fancy getting outdoors, and joining our ‘green gym’ to spend the day outdoors and help us manage our little patch of woodland above the village of Croyde?

Come along to our conservation task day at Lang’s Wood, Croyde. Guaranteed to bring some colour to your cheeks, fresh air to your lungs and a good mood!

This task day will be working to clear blackthorn scrub to encourage the ground flora & improve footpaths around the wood.

There will be opportunity for a guided walk around the woodland during the day.

Bring your own packed lunch, sturdy foot wear, warm clothes and gardening gloves. Tools will be provided.

No experience necessary, just a willing attitude.

Meeting at Croyde village car park just before 10am and walking up the hill to the site. Access to Lang’s wood is up a steep and narrow footpath so be prepared to get the blood pumping from the very start of the day.
