We’re lucky enough to have Ranger Rose come back and join us for an afternoon in Croyde this Autumn…
She’ll be leading an off-road guided walk, and sharing her knowledge about flower and seed identification. Rose is also a volunteer for the Bumblebee Conservation Trust, and will be sharing her knowledge and experience of the favourite local wild flowers of bees! We’ll learn how to support bees and pollinators by spreading seeds. There will also be seeds that you can take home to grow in your own garden.
This is an informal opportunity to come together as a community and learn a bit more about our lovely hedgerows and wildlife, as well as how we can help to look after it.
Everyone is welcome. No need to book, just turn up on the day. This is a free event.
Please wear sturdy footwear and sensible outdoor clothing. Come prepared for uneven ground and inclement weather, although this is not intended to be an arduous route.
We want this event to be accessible to all… if you would like to attend but are unsure due to access and mobility please get in touch and we will do our best to help. Contact Jasmine on jasmine@thepickwellfoundation.org.uk
