Sustainable Development fund Project

This grant has enabled Combe Martin Museum to purchase a microscope and television, magnifying glasses and team polo shirts for the Seashore Safari Team. It will make the marine area of the museum more interactive and enable young people to learn more about our beach, its inhabitants, geology and the local area and more importantly how to look after the beach.
The scope will be used for items from the beach as well as the museum.
the Museum will be running a variety of different types of workshops with the new equipment.  They are now able to show visitors and residents a ‘whole new world’. 
The scope will be also be used to study marine letter and the effects of litter on marine life.
